CASE STUDY: defense part manufacturer

We are ISO 9001-2015 and AS9100 certified and ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) registered.  

Our customer was machining these parts for the DoD from a solid piece of A536 ductile iron.   

PROBLEM: They were having trouble with the piece warping during the machining process.

SOLUTION: We were able to overcome this problem by thinking outside of the box and applying 30 years of machining expertise with advance fixturing to correct the problem and meet the deadline.

RESULTS: The deadline was met and a new machining process for this part was approved.
